People have been writing on stone since the days of prehistoric cave-painting, but stone paper has come a long way since the Ice Age! Karst notebooks are made entirely from recycled stone, and they’re completely waterproof—pages, cover, and all. The paper is silky smooth and feels great to write or draw on. It’s also hardy and tear-resistant. The notebook has a ribbon bookmark, a paper pocket, and an elastic band closure.
Note that some writing utensils, like gel pens, ballpoints, and permanent marker, work better on the coating of this stone paper. Fountain pens may skip or have long dry times on this paper, and wooden pencils with softer graphite will work better than mechanical pencils with sharp points.
